History Alive Show Presents Julia Child “Queen of Cuisine”

An afternoon of fun and learning presented by Mary Ann Jung portraying Julia Child in “Queen of Cuisine.” The show was enjoyable and the residents were all having a great time learning more about Julia’s life.

The program highlights Julia’s early search to find her life’s calling. It provides fascinating insight into her struggles at Le Cordon Bleu, to develop and publish “Mastering the Art of French Cooking,” and finally to create the groundbreaking “French Chef” television show. Using audience members to portray Julia’s beloved husband Paul and her co-authors Simca and Louisette, it’s a lively recipe for fun.

Mary Ann Jung is an award-winning performer, Smithsonian Scholar, and director, but not in modern clothing! She has appeared on CNN, the Today Show, Good Morning America, and in newspapers around the world as famous women from history.
