Outdoor Luau and Fire Dance Celebration

It was a perfect day for all of us here at The Fountains at Washington House to be outdoors and enjoying the weather during our annual Luau event with fire dancers featuring Paki Allen’s Polynesian Revue. Residents and associates wore their Hawaiian outfits including traditional Muumuu dresses. During social hour, delicious Mai Tai’s and other beverages were offered to go with the Hawaiian themed appetizers and a special dinner menu prepared by our amazing dining room staff. While residents were having fun socializing, our ukulele player set the mood by playing Tiny Bubbles, Pearly Shells and other Hawaiian music. It was another lasting memory created for residents, family, friends and associates at The Fountains.

About Our Performers: Paki was born and raised in the lovely town of Lahaina on the Island of Maui, Hawaii. Having been raised in the entertainment business, he began entertaining at the early age of 10 as a Hawaiian dancer in his family’s Luau show nightly at the Maui Surf Resort. He was a Hawaiian representative to many World Expo’s including Barcelona, Spain; Osaka, Japan; and Paris, France. His television credits include appearances on the Today’s Show, Regis and Kathy Lee, Good Morning America and many more.
