The Wabash College Men’s Glee Club Performs at The Fountains

The residents at The Fountains at Washington House were wowed with great performance by the Wabash College Men’s Glee Club who are celebrating their 125th year. They rendered a varied program, including sacred selections, traditional men’s chorus numbers, as well as contemporary secular and popular songs. The concert ended with a beautiful rendition of “Happy Trails” and the residents gave them a standing ovation and loud cheers. What a memorable evening for everyone!

About The Glee Club: While the tradition of singing at Wabash College dates back to its earliest years, formal organization of the Glee Club was established by 1892. Now celebrating its 125th year, the Club continues to be an indispensable part of Wabash College life. Performing for a variety of College activities and concerts during the academic year, the group also makes a annual concert tour in the U.S. Recent tours have included St. Louis (2014), Texas (2015), Tennessee (2016) which included performances in Nashville and Memphis and Washington D.C. area (2017).
