Go back to Life at The Fountains at Washington House

Young Artist Concert

A very talented young flutist, Madeline Caceres, amazed our residents at The Fountains at Washington House with her classical recital. Madeline is a high school senior who started playing the flute in 2007. She is the principal flutist in the Robinson Symphonic Band, the Robinson Philharmonic Orchestra, and Northern Virginia Youth Winds. Madeline is a student of David Lonkevich who is a great orchestral flutist in DC/Virginia area who has performed with the Baltimore Symphony, National Symphony, South Florida Symphony and many more. Madeline was accompanied by a talented and passionate pianist, Maribeth Gowan. Towards the end of the program, we were surprised by the flute duet by Madeline and her teacher David which was an outstanding part of the recital.
